Who is Jake Gray?
Jake Gray is one of Dubai’s most recognised voices in radio and dance music, hosting the Drivetime Show on Beat 97.8 FM and the Middle East Dance Chart. With over a decade of experience, he reaches more than half a million listeners daily, delivering a mix of entertainment, conversation, and the latest in dance music.
His Excellency Dr. Anwar Gargash, Senior Diplomatic Advisor to the UAE President, invited Jake to perform two years in a row, reflecting his status at the highest levels of UAE leadership. He has also played major events including the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Dubai Rugby Sevens, Dragon Boat Festival, Dubai Lynx International Festival of Creativity, and the Middle East Film and Comic Con. Jake has collaborated with global brands such as HSBC, Jeep, Mars, and Amway, and is known for unique performances like DJing from the top of a City Sightseeing double-decker bus in Dubai.
On air, Jake champions local talent through his Made in the UAE segment, showcasing homegrown artists and interviewing them live. Off air, he inspires the next generation, teaching children in the UAE how to DJ and present on the radio through partnerships with Original Mix DJs and Gen X Dubai.
Jake also holds international recognition as the Resident DJ of O’Neill’s, one of the UK’s biggest venue chains, bridging global music culture with the Middle East scene. Jake Gray currently hosts Drivetime across the UAE, weekdays 4-8 PM, on Beat 97.8 FM. He also presents ‘The Middle East Dance Chart’.
Jake has been in radio for over 10 years on multiple radio stations. From co-hosting one of the biggest breakfast shows in the Middle East to hosting his very own mid-morning show. Jake has done it all. He is full of life and his hilarious jokes and incredibly detailed music knowledge is what keeps half a million people of the UAE entertained every day!
DJ
Jake has been DJing since he was 8 years old! He is now currently the Resident DJ of one of the biggest venue chains in the U.K., O’Neill’s. Jake also mixes live on-air, across the UAE, every week with his radio show on Beat 97.8 FM. And by moving up through the event and nightlife scene across the UAE, there isn't a gig that Jake Gray isn't ready for.
He has DJed at massive international events such as the F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Dubai Rugby 7s and for top corporate brands such as HSBC, Jeep, Mars and that's only to name a few! Jake has also performed at the Dubai Lynx International Festival of Creativity and The Middle East Film & Comic Con. He doesn't restrict himself to stationary venues either, Jake Gray has DJed from on top of a City Sightseeing Dubai double-decker bus touring around the country! No matter the gig, Jake Gray never fails to impress!

Not only has Jake recorded and mixed countless tracks in the studio with live artists and musicians, but Jake has also been mastering tracks for several different artists in the industry, to the Spotify and iTunes standards. He doesn’t just stop at mixing and mastering music either, Jake has mixed films in Surround Sound and Binaural.
